THE BEST ONLINE LEAGUE NEWSLETTER 2.08   Friday, March 21st, 2003,    Whew. That's all I have to say. I'm finally caught up with Red Season. Here's where we're at:   We have 3 games in Week 7, and 3 games in Week 8 left. When those are done, we can officially move to Weeks 9 and 10, and as you all know you're allowed to move up one set of 2 and move ahead to Weeks 11 and 12. Please wait until I say so. For now we need to get those last 6 games done.   You'll notice however, that the Eagles are waaaaaaaay behind. In fact so far behind, I don't believe he can make it up. Not sure what's going on, haven't heard from him in a very, very long time - but I believe he's gonna have to drop out. He's also in the Blue League and he still has time there to play of course, but in the Red League - he's only played up to Week 4. It's unfortunate, but sometimes life rears it's ugly head - and you can't complete it. What happens in these cases is a "credit win". Every team on your schedule a win (even the ones you've played), with ZERO STATS, and ZERO TEAM RATING. That does not mean you get an actual "0" for a rating. You get nothing. It's like the game never happened and you played 15 games. The only problem of course is that some people never play him and some people play him twice. That's 2 credited wins for them. That really is just the breaks. No one could've planned this, shit just happens. This will absolutely end up having playoff implications, someone will inevitably not get in because of someone's credit win...all I can say is - he was not doing very well, and the good teams all beat him. So it's not so much a reversal credit. Like if say the Cowboys at 7-3 had to leave. Now that would seriously screw-shit up. I would consider "replacing" him, but 10 games? No. Just too far along. Shit happens.   Now, the update itself. Please CHECK your pages, stats, everything. If a game is NOT up that you played, TELL ME. As of right now, I have every single Red game up that I was emailed about. If your game ain't up - that's a problem. Oh and your damn emails. I swear to GOD people. First off: subject line:   NFL Red, Season 2, Week 9, Cowboys @ Bears   If you don't write your subject like this I will put a large PENIS on your teampage. You can't imagine how hard 2 leagues, 28 Weeks, 32 Teams (and soon to be 3 sports) is to keep straight. And again - with the box scores:   HOME TEAM ON THE BOTTOM   If one more of you pansies tells me "Well that's not how NFL2K3 does it!" Again, penis...team page. You're causin' me a shitload more work. Please take a few extra seconds to do it right. Most of you have gotten the rush/pass thing good - and putting in the final score. Again, you don't have to write Final Score just put it after quarter 4. I can figure that shit out. If it's OT - kindly put OT. Shit like that.   And finally checking your emails. Some of you are really atrocius at this. Please people. Respond to the emails with something - ANYTHING. We got people writing 3, 4 emails with no response. If you're say, going on a vacation for a week? Just write a quick note to the league. Now in actual LEAGUE news, WOW! What a couple of weeks! First off - Kansas City went from 8th in the AFC to 3rd. Unreal how well he's done. He's a very, very good player with a so-so team. And of course, you probably all know that the mighty New Orleans Saints went down for the first time to Dallas. They almost lost to the Chiefs as well. It's been a roller-coaster season with a shitload of jockeying for the 6 spots. It's gonna be a tremendous 2nd half.   And again, we are officially in Weeks 7 & 8, with 6 games remaining. When those are done I'll let everyone know. Schedule your games, and most of all: have fun. It is just a game people. And of all the $15-$25 you've spent in your life, this ain't the worst.
