You won't believe this. Talk about turning everything up on it's ass, just enough to pull out a great league.

We are now down to ten teams. After a night of utter frustration while once again in the middle of scheduling every damn game, I pulled a "commissioner" and kicked out Green Bay and Cleveland. Neither had paid (they would've eventually), but that wasn't the reason for their dismissal. Green Bay was just absolutely clueless to what was going on. Had no idea we were supposed to write down stats, never even glanced at the rules page - nothing. I was simply sick of babysitting. Cleveland not only doesn't have Xbox Live or a COMPUTER, he's freakin' 30 minutes away from the person who does. That bit me in the ass last night and I just said - scuh-rew it.

So I spent my entire evening (5 hours total), redoing every damn page of the site. Re-doing every damn schedule. And basically starting over. Here's the good news:

Every game still counts, unless you played the Packers or Browns. Luckily that was only 2 games. I spoke to Cameron of Tennessee personally and apologized for him losing a 31-0 win, but cheered him up when I told him that in return he got to play Minnesota twice. Why is this good? Minnesota just got RAPED 61-3 by Miami. So if there was ever a team you'd like on your schedule twice, it's them (sorry Nate, heh). The other lost game was Nate's loss to Green Bay, which he'll be happy to lose.

What we're left with however is a bit tricky. We've played 4 of 5 Week 1 matches, 3 of 5 Week 2 matches, and 1 of 5 Week 3 matches. So what needs to happen now, in order to fill in all the holes, is simply get everyone caught up to the end of Week 3. No going on to Week 4 until that's accomplished. Get your remaining games in as soon as possible, schedule your Week 4's...and then wait until I give the go ahead - and, well, go ahead. That way I'll be able to update the leaderboard with a COMPLETE Week 3 Round-Up. Although lemme break the suspense for ya: Miami is #1. Dude got a freaking 980 rating on his last game. 980. And no offense Houston, but you won't beat him in Week 3. He will absolutely be #1. We're all gonna be chasing him the rest of this season.

The other thing that now changes with losing 10 teams, is the playoff and payout scenerio. Now only the Top 6 get in (classic NFL WildCard scenerio), and there's no first round $5 payout.
All apologies for the change, not a whole lot I could do here. Rest assured, this will be the last Season the payout will be this low. I expect 20 Teams for Season 2, and things will be quite a bit different. Again, remember that the money doesn't just keep adding up. Getting to each bracket simply assures you of no less than that amount. If you get to the final 4 you get at least $10, last 2 - at least $15, and finally, winning The Superbowl a total of $50. Still can't wait for that game.

Anyway, that's it for now. I play my Week 3 later today against the Steelers (3 PM EST if you care to watch the ticker), and need to work on some trick plays for the MOOSE. He knows me too well.

Hope everything is explained alright, and if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to email me.
