6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Friday - Saturday, September 20th - 21st, 1996: SHOW 186
What a perfect show! Saturday mornings just rock! So many callers. A great Boyles..... #20! Can you believe it?! Starting The Boyles Volume 3 next week. Wow. New Late Show song to the tune of Speed Racer. Leon produced. He’s great. Like guys much better than girls for this job, except Burg. That would be fun. Anyway, I was on and time flew. Got the normal shitty faxes from AG. If there was some way he could know what a geek everyone thinks he is at the station, maybe he’d quit faxing. But it couldn’t hamper a great night, and tomorrow Ethan is on for a couple hours! It should be a blast. That’s about it. Hey when the shows are good, there’s not much to say.

11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Saturday - Sunday, September 21st - 22nd, 1996: SHOW 187
Unbelievable. 3 callers in 2 hours. I don’t get it. Ethan was amazing. He told some unbelievable stories. Great stories. Get this:

Apparently when Christian Slater hosted he was assigned to babysit him and Chris Farley. Management knew they were friends and that they would go nuts and they just wanted to make sure they made it to the show on-time Saturday night. They blew off almost every rehearsal halfway through and ended up staying awake for the last 2 days of the week partying. Ethan was with them the whole time. They were doing massive amounts of drugs, speedballing. He even said how he Chris Farley, and Christian Slater did Crystal Meth together in a limo. Not sure why he let that one go, but it sure was fun to listen to. He said they made it to the show and although you could tell they looked a bit ragged, they pulled it off. Considering how Farley ended up it's just crazy to hear it first hand like that. I'm sure the listeners were in awe but hardly anyone called. Entertaining though.

The 3rd hour was better, but not totally. I was so embarassed. John & Jane's producer thinks I get 3 calls in 2 hours. Grrrr. Ah well. I’m sure people listened. Anyway, the rest of the show went the way every fuckin’ Sunday morning goes. Ahhh! What can I do? Hmm... Maybe once fall hits, it will change. Oops, fall is today. Ha ha.
