11:30 PM - 3:00 AM, Wednesday - Thursday, Septmber 25th - 26th, 1996: The last straw. The old piece of shit again. So I’m doing production. Darrick Jordan and I are putting together a rap song opener for the show (turned out awesome by the way). Went into the producer's room to flip a Boyles tape and I see that Glenn is on hold. I check to see what place he is in (to go on the air), and since he was in third I picked up the phone to see how he was. Talked for roughly 13 secs, and put him back on hold. 20 minutes later at the top of the hour, Steve comes to me and goes off for me talking to one of his callers. Saying that impedes his show. In hindsight I can see how looking at the board and seeing someone is talking to a caller can be annoying, I concede that point. But if Steve did it to me, I really wouldn’t have minded. Anyway, that really isn’t what he was mad about. It’s about how close I get to my callers. I’m being, get this, "too nice" to them. So when they have to talk to Steve they think he’s a meany. For Christ's sake Steve, I’d better act like you then, eh? Unbelievable. Somewhere in the fight, and we were yelling, he manages to bring professionalism in there and my lack therof, how my show effects his show so much, and he doesn’t want my show to bleed into his. One: Profesionalism? When I quit on the air and ask Angela to run the show, then you can say that. Two: My show is on 2 nights a week. Your show is on 5 nights a week. I can’t be making the negative impact you claim. And Three: If I am, what does that say about your show? Ahh! I’m done doing Sunday nights now. I’ll ask Angela this week if she wants to do it.   6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Friday - Saturday, September 27th - 28th, 1996: SHOW 188 What an awesome show!!!! Gotta love it! Calls, calls and more calls. Calls at 4:30! Ha! Why must Sundays be so hard? The Boyles 21 was cool. 21...remember when I was lost on what to do for #4? Hee hee... Talk was about everything. The Poly Klaas trial came up a bit, and race, and so on. Oh jesus, Glenn thought he was off the air and said that Cannon was jewish. Wow. I was silent and kind of cringed. I talked a little about Cannon on the air. I’m really sick of hiding what a dick he is. I always stick up for him... And with just the little bit that I said, how he was mad, I got old ladies calling Angela and being all pissy. For the love of God, or Cannon, give it a rest. Cannon is boring. I hear callers call and say how great he is on his show, and I just shake my head. Are they kidding? I try, I sincerely try, but he’s just too damn boring. Anyway the show was great. Hope tomorrow will be.   10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Saturday - Sunday, September 28th - 29th, 1996: SHOW 189 Yes! It was a good show! Calls at 4:30! Love it man! Love it! Calls on The Buckeye win over Notre Dame! And good calls about The Boyles. Finally starting to get some respect when it comes to them. Once again talk about everything, and a little on Gangsta Rap. And I set up the roundtable forum for next week on it! 4 people to debate. It should be awesome. Really looking forward to the show. But tonight was great. Trivia went better, but I have to admit, I really am getting sick of people not playing Theme Trivia right. Stupidity shows on that game a lot more than Play It By Ear. Alright, that’s about it. Big meeting with Darryl on Wednesday!
