5:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Monday, July 29th, 1996:
Producing Munch again this week. Did a Munch song to the tune of Sgt. Pepper, hope he’ll play it. That’s it.

5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, Tuesday, July 30th, 1996:
Another day. I feel kind of sorry for Munch. Hardly gets any callers and seems insecure. If he says something and gets two callers he thinks THAT is the issue that stirs people up in Columbus. Then he revolves his entire show around it. It also kind of sucks that he’s on for one hour. Reds all week. Didn’t play him my Munch song, I’ll play it tomorrow.

5:45 PM - 7:15 PM, Wednesday, July 31st, 1996:
Played my song. He liked it. I don’t. I’ll do a better one later. Tonight was a boring show. Can’t wait to get back on and promote the signing. Should be fun. Have to write my Top 9 Lists. Filling in for Cannon in three weeks. Great, more Top 9 Lists. Whew. I don’t know where they’ll come from. Aah!!!...and the Boyles! Tomorrow.

5:45 PM - 7:45 PM, Thursday, August 1st, 1996:
Looks like I may be doing this for good. Munch says he so used to having someone do it, he doesn’t think he can. Hey, more hours, and more exposure since he wants me to write openers for him. Did one tonight after work that’s really good. Hope he likes it.

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Friday - Saturday, August 2nd - 3rd, 1996: SHOW 167
Another long day, but somehow came up with a great Boyles, and a good Top 9 List. There will be a night where I’ll not come up with a Top 9... I wonder how long I can go until that happens. I’m up to 21 straight now.... Boyles #12 was funny. I wonder if I’ll ever do a really bad one...or play it if I think it's bad. Hmmm. Anyway, premiered a new trivia game called "Play it By Ear" - seemed perfect for radio and worked out pretty well. It was a busy show. Ordered a pizza on the air. That was funny. Promoting my signing because CD sales are officially dead now. 30 in the last 6 weeks. Not sure what happened. The first 150 sold by themselves, the rest won’t. Looks llike I’ll have a bit of a review in The Guardian and The Other Paper. I’ll have them in all the Media Plays by the end of the week. I’m starting to work on this myself. Actually thinking of playing a gig somewhere with a piano. Hmm, where. Maybe some private gigs. Save some money and get a nice portable weighted thing. And play out. Sell some CD’s. You know, I should be bummed, but I’m not. Actually I don’t know. People just don’t want to shell out $12 for anything. Nothing. Some of my friends are being so fuckin’ stingy. Come on people. Twelve dollars for a piece of my whole future. That may not be anything, but it’s your friend. (sigh). They’ll be there when it happens. Anyway. I’m also kind of bummed about work. No real recognition yet. I know I’m young....only 20. But the product is worth mentioning....you know on other dayparts. My goals are lofty at 20. Anyway. I’m not as niave as 2 months ago. But I still know it will happen.

11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Saturday - Sunday, August 3rd - 4th, 1996: SHOW 168
Angela couldn’t come in because she had moved all day, and John Ricardi produced. It was fun, and he did well. People said they liked him better. To tell you the truth I do really want a guy to do it. Sexist? I don’t know. I think they do it better. It’s the voice. Oh well. And I’m sick of hearing about all of Angela’s problems. The show was awesome. The first two hours were so HEATED with Glenn and I going at it about welfare. Then we talked light for a bit. Trivia was good, and it was an overall great show. Hope I can get a check for John. He deserves $30 for that. Anyway...another great show. And get this: I finished the Top 9 List 4 minutes before midnight. It was close. They are really getting difficult now. Ahh, that whole week. I’ll start writing now.

11:30 PM - 2:15 AM, Sunday - Monday, August 4th - 5th, 1996:
Cannon had an ok night. Florence caled me 5 times in an hour. A caller made Cannon about my signing. Hahahaha. Did a spot with a tag. Ho hum.
