SHOW 120
- Well, kind of a slow show. Had
a lot to talk about, but no one else did. Went into
gun control and had a police officer offer to teach me
how to shoot. Might...might take him up on it. Got to
3:00 rather simply. But the face-off was quick and the
next hour sucked. Had to play two songs to get me out
of the hour! Haven't had to do that for months. Last
hour was filled with people telling jokes. Then when
Bob came in I was still trying to clean up. And for
some reason, his producer and mine was in there with
us. Extremely crowded and I was trying to clean up
quickly. I looked at Bob and kind of smiled because he
seemed preterbed. I said "us younguns...makin' a
mess..." Then he says: "No, you can just see the
difference between someone who does this as a career,
and one who does it for fill." What the fuck. FUCK YOU
MAN. I asked him who Phil was, and he gave a sarcastic
type of laugh. What a dickhead comment. Out of
nowhere. Also Dave acts like such a dufus around BC.
Dave is a dufus anyway, but more so around Bob. Oh and
I can tell he really wants my job - like he thinks
this is the stepping stone to him somehow taking my
show. ?!?!. Ah well. Have a feeling that tomorrow will
really blow. Have nothing to talk about.

SHOW 121
- Well, it strarted out blowing,
but ended up as a pretty good show. I went in
early and made a new face-off
song for Balderdash.
Argued for some time about ethnic jokes, after some
guy called up and told a Polish joke. Glenn said it
wasn't funny, the guy called back and said lighten up
he's Polish, then we tried to draw the line between
some jokes and others. Especially black and Jew jokes
and all other races. It was a great topic, and one I
want to bring up next weekend. Last weekend in
temporary studio from hell. Finally the nice new big
room and hopefully things will go better. Also it's
starting to get obvious that Dave wants my job. I
actually think it's funny, and it keeps me on my
toes.
