11:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Monday - Tuesday, August 29th - 30th, 1995: SHOW 45
Not one, not one all night. Not one in the 12:00 hour, not one at one! At two? Not at all. How 'bout the trivia hour? NOT ONE. Ok, at least your last hour had one...no, not one. So am I pissed...?

...how can I be pissed when I didn't play a song THE WHOLE NIGHT! Not one song all night. Straight talk for 5 hours. The ultimate banner day for Adam Kontras. A no-hitter. I had some left-over callers from Cannon, and then they got on the alien autopsy on FOX. Since I missed it, I asked people to describe it. 5 hours later, I had to cut people off. It was wonderful. And here's the best part, it's all on tape! All 5 hours on video tape which I will transfer later. I'm so pumped. I asked Bradley why there were never that many callers on the weekend, and he said it has more to do with the topic. Eureka. I'm gonna find some things to talk about this Friday. This is also the week I take over for Cannon. This could be a killer week. One problem. I have this feeling that I could get burnt on radio pretty quick. I'm 19 and flying high over doing a talk show for 5 hours. Rightfully so, but what's next? I'm afraid that this will get old if I'm doing this in 5 years. Well I'm a Singer/Songwriter first and foremost, I think I'll stick with that...

10:45 PM - 6:00 AM, Friday - Saturday, September 1st - 2nd, 1995: SHOW 46
Well, my summer's officially over. Nine straight overnights and then back to school. It's amazing but true. Tonight started out normal enough. I got enough stories to capture my 13th straight show with at least 3 Brushes With Fame, and then a funny thing happened. While a caller... "Susan"...was talking about her BWF, she said she couldn't understand why anyone famous would come to Columbus 'cause it sucks. The lines light up. She hates Columbus and feels she's has the right to say so since her family's been here since the 1800's. Well she became my guest and it was "Hello, you're on with Susan." There were some college students SOOOOO pissed that she was talking about the football Buckeyes in a bad vein, it floored me. This went on until the 3:00 hour and I finally called it quits so we could move on to trivia. But I'm telling you it was insane. The lady was a real bitch though and said some shit to me off the air. Then Mike called me with a stumper: "Who did John write 'Julia' for?" Julia was his mother. Mike goes nope, it was his aunt. What dilbert. We fought but I just got tired. It's like fighting over the fact that John last name is Lennon when he says it's Harrison. He was just wrong. He talked to me for the rest of the night and I finally got him off at 6:00. My ex-girlfriend Karen also called and proceeded to get smashed throughout the night. She was more obnoxious then Susan! Ok, I'm tired, goodnight.

10:45 PM - 9:00 AM, Saturday - Sunday, September 2nd - 3rd, 1995: SHOW 47
The night was pretty slow. Got enough BWF's for show #14. Trivia went fine. This is the second night in a row I've given away 4 passes to the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge. First we have nothing, and now we're giving away $300 worth of prizes in the middle of the night. A very routine show. I was extremely comfortable though. I was talking with people and not even thinking that I was on the air. That's nice, but dangerous. I finally think I'm getting better. Not that I was bad before, but I didn't feel I was improving. Now I do. The Alien Autopsy will be replayed Monday at 9:00. I bet I can pull another no-hitter Tuesday morning. Ok, I'm tired, normal night, see ya next time.

10:45 PM - 5:30 AM, Sunday - Monday, September 3rd - 4th, 1995: SHOW 48
I really expected this to be a better show. I talked until 12:35, then played 3 songs. 4 songs in the next hour. Maybe 6 at 2:00, then Trivia went pretty well. From 4:00 - 5:00 I was fine, no music at all. So I guess it was a pretty good night, but I had 4 topics and thought it would go better. I also felt really sick and tired around 2:00 and it made me less eager to keep talking. I asked about people's first jobs, worst jobs and so on. It worked well especially in the last hour. Now from 5:00 to 5:30 I was lost. I forgot I was doing an extra half hour and at 5 AM...there was no Sally. So I go into Nat'l news and Perkins came in and explained everything. Everything like normal except I did the Wall Street thing on the "DiCard" which made no sense to me but somehow it worked. I had to play a song just 'cause I felt weird talking with Mike in there. He was right behind me and I REALLY felt self-conscious. I got through and then came home sick as a dog. This is not a good sign. I've got a full week to go.
