10:45 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday - Tuesday, July 10th - 11th, 1995: SHOW 13
Wasserman didn't show up until 11:45! Made things kind of hectic for the first hour. I wanted to go over some things with him, but I couldn't and it was a shitty first hour. He must've smoked a lot of weed in his day 'cause I probably told him 5 times how to say the current temperature at the end, and that there was a cart right after that, but he fucked it up every time. Hardly anyone called in, of course until after he was gone, and then they called me. \He is intelligent, and I agree with some of his views, but I don't think he'll get many callers this week. People said they turn off the radio when he's on. Which isn't good for me, because Hansel keeps saying that Wasserman's filling in for Cannon!!!! Goddamnit it's only for two hours. Why does Wasserman get all this press? Oh well. I'm kind of jealous, but not worried. He's too much of a novice to be a threat. God, I have room to talk. Afterwards my hours went great. The trivia was a blast. I had a lot of fun. I was laughing the whole time. Gave away JCS tix, and Tecumseh Tix. Man I want to see JCS with the original cast members! Love that show. Also love the trivia hour, it gets me pumped the rest of the time. I hope Wasserman fails miserably. He's a nice guy, but I want my time slot back. Then, of all people...Sally Wagner said I sounded good on the air! I'm actually starting to like her, I should go change what I said before.

10:45 PM - 5:00 AM, Tuesday - Wednesday, July 11th - 12th, 1995: SHOW 14
Well Wasserman did better. I feel bad, he's a humble guy, always asking if he did good. Very nice, I'd love to hang out with him, but I want that time! Goddamn he's got all this press, and so on....it makes me sick. It's because he's talk talent. I'm just a DJ. But I've proved I can do it! He can't read very effectively over the air, and a few people pointed that out to him...on the air, but just talking, he's pretty decent. Luckily tomorrow's his last night though. I know he'll be in there on that 16 day stint, but oh well. My time went great. I love doing trivia, it's a blast! Had some great questions today. Got stumped the first 5 times, then finally started getting a few. It's great. I am going to ask if my hour before that can be a Beatles Music hour and then the trivia. That's askin' for a lot, but maybe I'll get it on my weekend show. I'm getting extreme creative urges now...I hope this will be a good outlet. Oh and as I'm leaving I had a real conversation with Bob Conners, wow. He yelled "FUCK YOU" to the radio and took me by surprise. He was upset about the Hugh Grant thing. I asked if it was because he was getting so much press over a blow job, and he said it's just stupid. I said blow job to Bob Conners. I find that exteremely funny.

10:45 PM - 5:00 AM, Wednesday - Thursday, July 12th - 13th, 1995: SHOW 15
Great night all around.....but after my last entry a big black guy broke into our apartment and tried to rob us. Luckily I was there and he turned and left, but quite a scary experience nonetheless. So tonight Burgundie sat in with me during the show. Harvey had a good last night...I stress last. He didn't generate too many callers, but once again he's a great guy. I just hope to never see him again. ANYWAY, trivia was the best ever. Truly good questions, got 6 or 7 out of 10. One caller didn't know the right answer to his own question, and I only knew part of it, but I put him in the drawing anyway, so he was the fourth. Everything went smoothly, and I had a lot of praises on my Beatle skill. I really have my own audience it's great. People are so polite, I try to be polite as I can be, to them too. The best question of the night had to be: Q: What Beatle did the U.S. Govt. hate the most? I said John Lennon, of course. A: The Japaneese Beetle... :-)

10:45 PM - 5:00 AM, Thursday - Friday, July 13th - 14th, 1995: SHOW 16
Man, this night really sucked. The only reason being I got stumped BAD...try 10 times in a row. It was sad. Some people just asked impossible question, but others were quite fair, and I was quite wrong. That whole hour I forgot half my spots, and a weather break. Things get so hectic that you forget. And because so many people got the answers right and stumped me, I was writing down addresses the whole hour. Some guy said I was still the king of Beatles trivia, which was cool. I really feel like I'm getting an audience. I hope they stick with me on weekends when Cannon comes back during the week. As bad as tonight went, I have to reflect on where I am. A bad night for me is getting stumped on my OWN Trivia hour....getting stumped on the Beatles...and then playing music. That just rocks. I have to be one of the luckiest 19 year olds alive. Oh, and Sally Wagner said I sounded good on the air again. She's actually pretty nice. Who'd have thunk it?

10:45 PM - 6:00 AM, Friday - Saturday, July 14th - 15th, 1995: SHOW 17
It was odd doing the weekend gig again. There's a little more work involved. Hansel gave me the idea of making my shift like a morning show, you know, kind of make it crazy. It's a rather good idea. If Bill gave me that chance, I'd put in the extra work. What I really want to do is have specific hours with a theme. That would be great. Well the trivia hour kicked some butt. It went too quick, but that's 'cause the questions were easy, and I was only stumped 4 times. They seem to go in cycles. I'm starting to rethink some of my earlier statements about my co-workers. I stand the same on Hansel....for sure. In fact I think I dislike him now more than ever. He's just too much like Dave. He's got that cocky attitude that seems like he's hiding insecurities. It drives me batty. BC is actually easy to get along with, and I don't hold my breath when I'm in the same room anymore. And Joe Bradley is extremely funny...now that I never take him seriously. I like work a lot. I'm in a tremendous opportunity.

9:30 PM - 6:00 AM, Saturday - Sunday, July 15th - 16th, 1995: SHOW 18
Came early to make some labels for WOBN. I'm ecstatic I've figured that out. Now the whole station will look good. Tonight was kind of odd. Had an old nemesis Tara DeFrancisco call me and we talked (and made up) for 4 hours off the air. It was great, barely like I was working. But I screwed up a few too many times too. I also just played whatever I wanted all night, I didn't want to get up. Trivia went well again. Then that lady called up again and asked this time: "Where was I when The Beatles played Ed Sullivan?" When I said at home, she said: "And where was that?" I said I havent a clue...Columbus. "No, Pittsburgh" Fuck her. I kind of yelled at her off the air. I really have no clue what the feel of the night was because I was talking to Tara the whole time. I just went through the motions....but hey, it's my last night.

10:00 PM - 2:00 AM, Sunday - Monday, July 16th - July 17th, 1995:
I produced Hansel and Cannon. Hansel still seems like an ass to me, but Cannon is really a fun guy. Got a lot of callers saying how good I did the past week, which was great. Kathryn Piermont said I sounded great. It was nice. Overall, producing can get really boring though. Just screening calls. Oh well, It's a job. Speaking of which I still haven't gotten my paycheck.....what's the deal with that?
