- What an unbelieveabley fitting end to Season 1.
Not only was this game amazing, all 3 games today were
the closest games EVER by our entire league. Wow, wow,
wow.

- In a league first, Tennessee won a back and forth
game with a negative team
rating. Who knew the same thing would happen in the
SuperBOL? I missed a last second 50 yard field
goal to put it into overtime, and I have to admit - it
was the most intense feeling I've had playing a
videogame. This is exactly why I started this league:
gaming experiences like no other.

- Then not to be outdone, the Oakland Raiders hold
New York to 3 field goals, and lose the game on...a
HOLDING call. That's right. He was in field goal
range to win - and a holding call knocked him out of
range. Talk about wanting to shoot yourself.
Unbelieveable.
-
- And then finally in the SuperBOL the game is
decided on a interception runback for a touchdown.
That's just "Disney". I mean who needs the
NFL?
-
- Anyway, I'm thrilled with the turnout of Season 1
- and you know what that means: the hype for Season 2
begins. The build-up swells. This was the tip of the
iceberg, Season 2 will be EPIC. Double the teams,
double the playoff spots, over TRIPLE the regular
season games...
-
- ...except, we're 5 players short. Marty having to
bow out, and one of our recent signees just being a
total jackass on AIM leaves the following teams
available for next season:
-
- 49ers
-
- Bengals
- Cowboys
- Chargers
- Saints
- Colts
- Browns
- Giants
- Bills
- Vikings
- Cardinals
- Falcons
- Jaguars
-
- Panthers
- Ravens
- Texans
- Lions
-
- I leave getting these positions filled up to you
guys. I'm spending night and day doing the immense
amount of work to create the Season 2 website. I've
hit up the IGN boards a few times, but you guys really
need to talk up the site. Tell everyone you can think
of to simply LOOK at the site. The stats, the videos,
and most importantly Newsletter
1.09. That explains the payscale and shows
the payout bracket for Season 2. Hit every board you
can think of. Preferably, try to get people in your
area that would be a good grudge match. Just do
whatever you can because without 5 more people - the
league will be delayed.
-
- Anyway, hats off to all of you. This was a
tremendous end to a helluve first season. I'm so glad
you were all able to be a part of it.
