Unbelieveable.
I am ROLLIN. I'm on a productive streak that is
incredible. I feel like I did at the end of 2000.
I was in this groove of just producing and producing
and producing. From a new 4tvs set, to the Parody CD
"Star Wars Blew", to LetterstoLennon.com to
NBAFantasy.net, all sorts of updates to the site -
even the new 4tvs set-up. I was really on a roll that
lead all the way up until I met Charlotte. Now
I can't blame it all on her, but when I met
her I pretty much handed over everything to her.
Other then the Trinitrons, I kinda went into
production hibernation while following Charlotte's
lead. No biggie really, I thought that was the
key - but it's unlike me completely.
My
whole life has been producing and creating things.
Anything. When I look back on my childhood it's just
so glaring. I would make board games - full with boxes
and instructions. Made movies with my dad - songs,
stat lists of Bulls Games. Just SHIT. Lotsa shit. It
made me feel alive to take a new idea and see it
through.
It
blew up at WTVN. Dear Lord. I'm almost certain nothing
(but another show) will ever see that type of
producing again. I was going in 6 hours early, for a 6
hour show and making bits, and songs, and jesus - it
never stopped. It was easily quantity over quality
sometimes, but it made me feel alive. It was one of
the best times of my life. Be it a song, or a Boyles
episode - it made me feel complete. This urge comes
over me to not waste a second and produce and produce
and produce...
I
keep trying to explain this in different ways.
I guess it's more for me, trying to understand
what truly makes me tick, or why it makes me tick.
Yeah, they call that rambling Adam - move
on.
It
all kinda started with the Buckeye victory. I
immediately started working on editing it. Preparing
the DVD menus and everything. Half way through it, I
got the idea for an Xbox Live NFL2K3 League with a
full season and stats. All updated on a site, even
with video clips - so I started putting that
together too. Then I finally got the last piece
for the complete outline of The Trinitrons 2 and
started putting that together. I started working out
every morning, even though I had a job and it
made me get up at 6:30 AM to do so. Oh yeah, a JOB.
The numerous projects I've done there working in the
office - making things run smoother. I just love the
job. I feel so priviledged to even have a job that
I want to impress the doctor every moment I'm
there. I actually look forward to work. I can't
wait to get up each morning.
I
know what you're all saying, none of this is really
"career" related - I'm wasting my time. I couldn't
disagree more. Passion is contagious. Passionately
CREATING is contagious. An idle mind creates nothing,
but when you're busy and creating - you do so in every
avenue. It seeps into your whole life. The Trinitrons
2 Outline didn't come until I started making the
XBox LIve website. See? Oh and that whole
thing....
Dude
this is so cool. Check out the
site.
It's a 10 Game Season, Top 6 advance to a the
playoffs. We got people from Texas to Ohio to
Minnesota to LA - It's gonna be crazy. Full stats will
be kept, and even video clips of the big plays of the
season. Leave it to me to do ten times more work than
necessary, but I must admit - the site looks very
cool. It's these kind of things that really get my
juices flowing. Laying down all the rules for the
league, putting together the 30 pages of the site...
and of course playing games that are this intense.
I'll be sure to keep you updated over the weeks. Also,
if anyone is interested, email
me
soon. We have enough to start on January 26th, but we
could always expand the scedule for more
people.
Buckeye
fans, it's coming. One of my proudest
editing achievements is close to being
finished. I'm honestly only looking for
the song to use for the first half. I've
put about a dozen in, and still nothing is
perfect. The
last
drive
however is pretty kickass. I know I'm
handing you guys the climax of the video
as your first taste - but who cares. We
all know how this movie ends. $20,
FREE SHIPPING, satisfaction
guaranteed. Email
me
if you're interested. I feel bad, this was
originally just a little video for my
grandfather, and once some of you heard it
you all FREAKED OUT. Like
I can talk...
And
finally, The Trinitrons 2. Man it all came together
this past weekend. I don't wanna tell you too much -
but here's the opening premise: After the last show,
Adam has a total re-evaluation of where he is in life
due to being so humiliated in public. It leads him to
become the only white muslim in music history.
Meanwhile, the rest of the group got talked into a
promotion by their manager in which they took over a
restaurant for a night. "Have the #7 boyband make your
food!!" - It was a huge success. Unfortunately though,
with Adam gone - it ended up being the only gig they
could get. This soon became their full-time jobs. We
start out seeing a scene of the 4 of them at work.
Imagine "G" being the cashier when the question
of white meat vs. dark meat is posed. Oh the fun we'll
have.
Anyway,
eventually Adam returns as a customer - and he wants
to do a huge REUNION tour. This time called "The
Trinitrons & Adam" because he's truly changed his
ways. What secrets that unfold on the opening night of
the tour however, will suprise everyone - including
the band...and that's all I can say about that. The
cool thing is Marty is comin' out for the filming of
the first 2 TVs. I'm shooting for March 6th-9th. I'm
pretty excited.
So as
you can see things are indeed ROLLIN'. Every morning I
seem to laugh at myself for just how happy I am. Why
on earth am I happy about getting up at 6:30 in the
morning to sit on a friggin' bike? Insane. Here's hopin'
this NEVER goes away again.
