True love is an amazing thing. True love is patience beyond all you imagined possible. True love is being faced with the most trying moments - and your only thought is to love more. It really is the answer to every single problem in marriage: Love outward. That really astounds me when I think about it. Every real issue I've ever had in my relationships stemmed from one person being too focused inward. It happens in life - but with patience, understanding and of course love...it's easily remedied. Easily. RIGHT. :-)

Donna and I are both going through some tough times personally. We're both dealing with things that are seemingly out of our control...when in fact there's a solution that we do control, we just can't find it. This entry will not solve any of those problems, but sometimes you just have to hug the hate. You have to embrace the fear. You have to catch the punch and start to dance. Here's my best attempt:

-When I make you laugh, you make me feel like the funniest man in the world. You can't breathe...and I can't wait to make you laugh again.

-You think Lester is the greatest thing you've ever heard. At times you find him funnier than me, and I love that.

-You are gorgeous beyond measure. Period.

-You radiate energy unlike anyone I've ever known. I feel you long before my other senses catch up.

-You make me laugh out loud several times a day, and then swear that you don't have a funny bone in your body. Precious.

-You get just as mad at shit that happens in a videogame as I do. However that dirty-disc error you got while you were beating the final boss in Lord of The Rings was handled much better than what I would've done.

-You know more about nutrition than anyone I've ever met, are incredibly conscious of what you put in your body...but know that at certain times of the month - Krispy Kreme is the healthiest thing you could eat.

-You're reading this trying not to smile right now. That's cute.

-I wrote this vow the day we got married, at the top of my head, first try, with no changes whatsoever...

...that's...well it's actually EXTREME procrastination, but it's also true love. :-)

-No matter what we're going through, we have to play "happy couple" while we hand candy to the ungrateful brats who are about to invade our yard. You'll play the part perfectly, and then ignore me for the rest of the night. LOL.

-You will conquer your troubles now, the same way you got to America, went back...and then came to America - AGAIN. You will conquer this, but with the help of others. Now that's all in how you look at it... you do control the choice to accept help. ;-)

Well, it's getting dark. We gotta hand out the yummies. We should just keep the barking pups on the porch with us - we'd have a lot more candy left over.

:-)

Love you babe,
Adam
