We're baaaaaack...

We're baaaaaaaack. So glad to finally be doing another Egos entry. Seems like it's been forever. About 4 months actually, but all is back to normal in TV Land although things look a little different. I mean come on, you knew there was no way I was gonna do the same format as last time! Heck, I was ready to change mid-stream with the newsroom set-up last season. The new digs should be quite fun.

So Cameron negotiated a deal with CBS to allow them to use Les Moonves' personal screening room this season to premiere each band. Needless to say, Cam is a little "on-edge" about this, but more on that later. Let's see how the boys look after the long 4 months off...

Ahh yes, everyone looks pretty good. Unfortunately the way Spencer is mic'd forced his nipple to show the whole time, but whatcha gonna do. LOL. You may also notice his hair is a bit too long, but that will be remedied next week. Let's just say, Donna wasn't about to marry Spencer so we had to get a wig. And that's all the 4th wall breaking I'll do.

:-)

As mentioned before, Cam went through a lot of trouble to get them that room and they are having a hard time appreciating that. Though Gary thinks his actions are harmless, he's jeopardizing the entire deal by his tom-foolery. Ok, sorry about that - Cameron emailed me those last 2 lines and I had to put them in. Cameron is wound a little too tight right now and needs to chill out...

...and it doesn't look like that's happening any time soon. :-) Crazy thing though - did you know that while in the CBS building at television city, if you curse it blurs your face and cuts off your voicebox? It's amazing. Something to do with Janet Jackson and the FCC. They really rigged that whole network to avoid that fiasco again.

Hmmm.

Oh and you'll notice how lovely the boys looked in their new clothes:

Crooked X was kind enough to give the band some of their shirts, and I must say - they picked them out quite well. Ha. Jim couldn't stop laughing at Spencer. Good times.

Anyway, the new screening room seems to be a big hit and from a technical standpoint I think looks much more impressive than the newsroom shot. I'm trying to make the most of the new horsepower they gave me with the computer as this puppy would be nearly impossible on my laptop considering the time restraints. Hopefully everyone's happy...

...except for those damned "Mexican Jumping Chairs" in the screening room. Heh. They're all spring loaded and we spent half of our time trying to stop them from jumping because of the split screens. Heh. Just walking tends to make them start and man - even when you get out of one the seats next to 'em go all wonky. It was pretty funny. Small price to pay of course.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it, and see ya next week.
