- This
ended up being the only song parody I was
ever able to play for the actual band who
wrote the original. And holy shit their
reaction was priceless. I'll get to that
in a second.

- Great
song and once again, had enough
instrumental that I could piece together
backing tracks pretty easy. The obvious
parody was "Can't get enough head" or
something along those lines, but even
I was getting a bit bored of the
sexual stuff. I have fucked up sinuses and
don't sleep very well and mornings for me
are impossible because I'm exhausted. Meh,
my cross - whaddya gonna do.

- So
"Outta my bed" worked good and it was my
nod to Lennon's "I'm only sleeping". Very
proud of the production, my voice,
everything. I secretly want to lead a
rock band, but I've never found any other
peeps as dedicated as me. C'est La
Vie.

- So the guys are in
there to do some liners for the station and I just go
for it. Said, "You wanna hear something crazy?". The
lead singer looked like I had destroyed his
WORLD. He put his hands to his head, with his eyes all
wild eyed, absolutely stunned someone else's
voice was coming out of the speakers. I'll never
forget it as long as I live. He was smiling, but it
was clear he was quite confused. Hahahaha. I'm
laughing as I type this. I immediately explain to him
it's just a parody I did on my radio show, and he
calmed down a bit and listened some more. He asked if
we were selling it and I said of course not -
just did it for laughs. That seemed to make him feel
better. When we got to the middle instrumental part I
potted it down so they could do their liners and the
first thing out of his mouth in a heavy british
accent:
