Entry #46

See, he loves me.

Amazingly in all my years in radio - this was the first time I had ever heard my song on the radio and it was one of the greatest feelings I had ever known. I'll never forget it - I knew it was coming up and I was heading home from work and as I was getting on the on-ramp to 670 West (to 315 North) it came on. Just crazy.

The weirdest thing about this, and I still don't fully understand it, is the radio compression actually makes some things come out that you can barely hear in the CD version. The whole "Adam is dead. July 13th, 2057, Adam is dead" is very difficult to make out in the CD version, but on the radio - it's like a lead vocal track. Cool huh?

Anyway, a complete thrill and meant the absolute world to me. Andyman, thank you, thank you, thank you.
