And all
the sudden, I have music! The biggest
difference between
AM & FM for me was the
access to new music all the time and the
ability to make topical parody songs of
current hits. Didn't have any background
tracks, but some fancy editing could make up
for that.

- First up of course
was Ernie. His love affair with Bert is stuff of 'TVN
legend and there was no doubt he was coming to the FM
side. And this song just lent itself so well. Most
importantly, the song rocks. What a badass comment
that only someone as cool as Lenny Kravitz could say
and get away with: "If you can't say no to him
baby, just think about me while he fucks you." That's
so money. That's just so money.

Ernie is famous for ending all of his sentences with
"Bert" the first CD101 Parody song was written.
I remember Christi Bambeck thinking this was
friggin' hilarious. Of course it was a song without a
home as I had yet to get my show back...
