THE SET-UP

After a short-lived hiatus, set-up is back. Marty Moose couldn't make it today and Jess and I set up by ourselves. It was fairly easy. Took just a bit longer. I'm gonna go get velcro for the cords to make the set-up go a bit quicker. Otherwise, it was a usual 45 minutes set-up.

THE PERFORMANCE
SET 1: OPEN 1 - PARODY 1 - HARRY - UNPLUGGED
SET 2: RHYTHM - PARODY 2 - STRONGER - BURG*
SET 3: HATE - LOVE - ABBEY ROAD
*JUST DID "BREAD IN THE FREEZER" FROM BURG SET

I had little energy tonight. Powell is a difficult place to play because the cops are such dicks. Anyone in Powell LEAVES to party, and Powell ain't the place to go otherwise. Even had a cop come in to the bar (with 8 people) and just walk around trying to look "in control". Yeah, you'd better watch out man. I actually sang some shitty lyrics to him as he walked out the door. Something about shooting pizza delivery boys. That happened earlier this year up there. I as always enjoyed singing. It was fun playing to the ones who hadn't seen me. Uhm, the bartender. :-) The rest were people who came back to see the show. Very cool. Wait, that's probably for the reaction.

THE REACTION

"Thank you Adam"...This was the response from three drunk girls from Parody 2 - ON. After every song. Heh heh. It was cute at first, and then became old. I guess they didn't catch the part where I admitted having some tough luck with women and the TVs make fun of me. :-) Amazing, hot young drunk girls constantly telling me thank you was annoying. My oh my how my priorites have changed. Other than that, 3 firm handshakes from the other people who came back just to see me was cool. I talked to them about Vegas during the breaks. They all say "GO FOR IT!" Yeah, who wouldn't tell that to someone else. But they were cool. I just realized how strange it might be for them to hop on this site and hear me talking about them. :-) That's very surreal. I write these entries as my diary...and to think they're on the web. I might need to be careful about...nah...screw it. I've "crashed and burned" on my honesty (written good songs too)...ain't gonna stop now.
