Hey Adam,
Great to hear that you've been dogging every venue you can get near. That's the way to do it. I sent out 176 resumes before I got my first REAL job. Don't get discouraged if the clubowners don't see things your way at first. Let's face it, if they had any real vision, they wouldn't be working any more. You keep pushing your face in front of their faces and something is bound to happen...maybe even something good.

My best to you and yours,
D

PS: Hey, nice tooth. On the bright side, you'll save a bit on toothpaste every day. That savings might mean the difference between normal-life and CHUD-hood someday, so don't belittle it.

Hi! Just wanted to put my vote in for some of the funny stuff - like Screw
You, or Bread in the Freezer.

Oh but wait, "Come To" rocks, so I vote for that one too!

Just letting you know, I'm doing all I can to help advertise the show. I
have a weekly column on 411wrestling.com, where I spread my vast, um,
knowledge and opinions with all interested, and I mentioned your gig in the
newest one. Go to that address and click on "The World According to Ron."
If I help you get three or four more people there, glad to help.

I think the Parody Sets 2 & 3 are real good for a comedy
situation. "A Day In The Life" pushes the envelope a little which probably
isn't a problem in the enviroment you're going to be playing. The "Slide
Set" and the "Ernie Set" should work well also. I think the comedy is going
to be the key to the success of this format you call "4tvs". That's why the
praody songs work so well. The all-acapella stuff might be over many
peoples heads. Because of that, it doesn't hold their interest as well as
the parody songs and other comedic material including the bits between songs.

Just my opinion. Good Luck.
Being your father, I do expect an over-the-weekend update.

Excellent. Of course this is just the first step in your explosion in LA.
Good Luck and kick some ass.
