HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Might as well post the festivities before I get into all the new year stuff...

Kids are growin' up man... these traditions are gonna change sooner than we think...

So, the word that defines Virtual Presence (oh you'd better believe I'm using that every single time) in 2026: credibility. That is where we start 2026 in a way we just couldn't in 2025. Sure, we had incredible footage, but no one had released any of it nor had we made a dime. Until the Raiders the only income we had was from a small test for NFL Media in October '23. Leaving only my savings and a very warm credit card to keep me afloat for 3 years, the Raiders deal was massive. Even if it was a fraction of what was promised, for us? It more than kept the dream alive and what we were able to shoot becomes the calling card for exactly what works. We have a business model for teams to follow, in fact we have a couple... and we can prove it. What Pete Carroll and the Raiders showed was that with the SMALLEST footprint... we can provide fans with access they simply cannot get otherwise in a quality that most people cannot even fathom. And with the Dodgers releasing what we shot (FINALLY) we now have it: credibility. Even the goofy is credibility. I say goofy, but it's really not. It's pretty spectacular I was able to get that. I never considered trademarks when I made up the name so, wow.

Funny aside: do you remember as a kid doodling shit and to make it look professional you'd add the copyright symbol, or the trademark symbol... or the INCREDIBLE "INC." after a name like that was anything more than some money and paperwork? LOL. I will say the trademark was the hardest of the 3 to get - in fact I didn't realize this but once you go through all the steps they do a pre-announcement so that anyone can object and you just kinda hold your breath for a month. I was concerned because it just seems like such an obvious thing to trademark and 4 people HAD! They just abandoned it so I was certain some shit was gonna go down but, nope, it's ours. Hellz, yes.

And that's where I'm at on the first day of the year. Hef texted me yesterday "this is our year" and it was in a way that was a bit strange for him. He's the calm, steady, reasonable one... I'm the dreamer and overachiever - and reading that from him really did lift me up a bit. It's as I said in the last video: it really was a good year. Only the Yoda dude interfering (while also being the reason it even happened) made it feel like a failure. I am THRILLED at the credibility we gained and the presentations we can now give on behalf of our company.

Virtual Presence became a real boy in 2025, now we take flight.
