(The Journey Project 007 - VRLOG 189)
7:58 PM, Tuesday, October 22nd, 2025:

Man I'm late with this entry but a new headset came out today and just took up all my time. And Jay came over and we did a Virtual Presence Podcast - whew, way to slim down those entries for the journey project huh Adam? LOL. We'll get to that stuff tomorrow but for today! After All!

Love this song and I remember really digging it back in the day. It was in the midst of all of the comedy central stuff and... wow I just read that entry - it's a lot deeper than I remembered it. Long story short, the people that got me the deal with Comedy Central gave me a deal so bad, my agent went to a different production company that had a relationship with Comedy Central and worked out a deal with THEM instead. I agreed of course, but it felt slimy as fuuuuuuuck. But also, the deal the original company gave was so unbelievably upside down (and they treated me horribly) we honestly had no choice but to walk and contacted the second company to even see if we could still audition for Comedy Central. But it was a big moment for me because I certainly wasn't "loyal" to the one that got me there. Of course nothing worked out, the original company was in the midst of closing down anyway - not a big deal in the scheme of things but it did make for a good song. One that kinda got lost over time but I'd always happen upon it throughout the years and think "man, that's a legit song". So you add a new lyric and away you go...

This one looks pretty cool in VR180. It's really bizarre to be inside the effects I used 15-20 years ago. Goddamn I love Virtual Presence. OH AND MY TRADEMARK CAME THROUGH! Quick aside:

So I applied for a trademark for Virtual Presence in May and just got the email last night that it's gonna be officially published and no longer pending on 10/28! WOO HOO. It's crazy because on 10/13 I was told to be ready for a phone call to verify information. I just had to be ready at 12:30pm on 10/13 or else I may not get the trademark. (btw the trademark process is fucking ridiculous, once it goes public you get innundated with scams and it's hard to know what's real and what isn't - and this felt like one of those scams, but THAT was actually legit). Anyway - they never called. I was in line at Rise of the Resistance expecting the phone to ring during the ride (and we were smack dab in the middle of it during the time) and they never called. I called them all day - no answer. I presumed it had to do with the government shutdown, but what does that mean for my trademark? I guess I just get it. Weird.

So yeah - and now I have to put together all this Galaxy XR stuff. SO. MANY. ENTRIES.
