10:22 AM, Monday, March 31st, 2025   So the post-Ernie order is as follows: Cam gets an overview video on his half-birthday, and a talk on his birthday - vienna gets the reverse. Which means... it's time for her 12.5 talk...     It's a lot to unpack I bet. In fact I'm not completely certain what to type right now because it's a far bigger deal for my generation (and the baby boomers) as it is for Vienna. It's just another day for her... which of course means we raised her well. Proud of that - but it doesn't change the fact that 1250 entries after she was born (on 1275), Vienna came out. Quite unsurprisingly to us, in fact she could have easily done this video years ago - but we kept telling her labels weren't really necessary (especially before puberty) and she understood.   Puberty has arrived and she's making power point presentations about the girl she's in love with. I'm still shell-shocked at her unabashed JOY and ability to communicate who she is. To not only our family (or that BIG CAMERA GOING OUT TO EVERYONE) but EVERYONE at school who will even listen. The fact that her entire math class knew her gay celebrity crush is fucking insane to me. It's a product of the time, sure, but it's the most GLARING sign that Talya and I have allowed her to be exactly who she is since birth. We don't direct, we guide and support. And there it is. So 2525 becomes a new "set in stone" moment in The Journey and we look ahead to the rest of her childhood with wonder in our eyes. That may have been another Sunday to Vienna, but it is indeed a moment for us and I'm excited to see what's next.   <3   Adam
