9:02 AM, Monday, March 24th, 2025   Well that joy was somewhat short-lived.   First round of Monday texts are out - we'll see how the week progresses but for whatever reason that good feeling I've had for a couple weeks is gone. The reason? Literally nothing has changed or progressed and for the first time it ocurred to me - it might not.   First up - FanDuel meeting for today is delayed until next month... and, well, considering Hef just got let go from the network, you wonder if my NY contact will even be there next month. I guess I could just fly out and force the meeting hoping I meet even more people and maybe at least one person will stay? It's tough because they are STILL the most obvious business plan as they have access and distribution at almost no cost. Individual teams do as well, but they're just one team. And it's proving difficult to get the right people AT those teams to see these results...   ...which takes us to The Dodgers. I was able to show a couple people but the road ahead is a bit murky. There's a guy that I believe needs to see it that was apparently BURNED on VR video ten years ago when there was a big push and it failed. Of course it failed because it just looked awful - so I made a reel SPECIFICALLY FOR HIM...     And because of the Ohtani footage I can't make that reel public (yet). But even though that's been ready for a week, getting him to see it is the next hurdle and I'm just not a priority. However until this person sees it - it WON'T be a priority. The eternal catch-22. So theoretically? This could just fade away.   <blink>   Maybe it won't. The end result is SO GOOD I cannot fathom that it won't - but here's the other issue: what if they don't want to release it to the fanclub in Japan because IT IS too good and they'll want more? I don't know what people are paying to be in this fanclub or what the business model of that whole thing is... so maybe my peeps saw it at the Dodgers and thought "If we release this, they'll demand more and that will cost X amount... yet not bring us any more revenue." If I'm a business man? I understand that...   ...until you look at the Japanese market and realize HOLY FUCK they are nuts about Ohtani right now and you could literally PRINT money with Virtual Presence and that human. So what does that mean? You can imagine going the Apple route where you just pay for access and licensing and release it yourself - but they can operate at a loss and no one else can. So... either the team gets it or they don't. Which means you wait and you sit on absolutely breathtaking footage.   And finally we have the Raiders which is exactly where we left it which was good. The problem? We don't have dates and I've spoken to no one except Yoda. Now I obviously trust Yoda, he's why Pete even saw the footage... but when I talk to him nothing is that big of a deal and he's more focused on USC or other angles... almost like he's purosely downplaying Vegas because it's not local. And again - it might as well be. It's a one hour flight - $165 roundtrip. He's more focused on that inconvenience and I would WALK to Vegas for the company. Ya know? So there's a strange feeling associated with it...   BUT ALL OF THIS COULD JUST BE MY HEAD. Ya know? It's my own brain that allows me to feel happiness so the reverse is true. I guess looking back, this is where I was last month and that baseball seemed to give me a reprieve. Now that everything has slowed down and I can't really show people what I was so happy about - here we are again.   The good news is Hef is doing the podcast with me on Wednesday. That's actually awesome and I'm glad to cement him into The Journey for all the help he's given me.   Also? When everything is out of your control, it's a lot easier to maintain a diet and workout routine. Way harder when you're happy and want to celebrate. So that starts today. It's all I can do at this point.   Whew.   Adam
