Finishing this video now is so crazy considering what's transpired in the last couple days. What was going to be a final push to convince Pete to shoot some stuff for The Raiders, now simply becomes a love letter for the students documenting an incredible memory. For them? This will be something they'll watch 20 years from now on a pair of glasses and just be thrilled they can re-live it like this. Their fresh, youthful faces inspired and ready to take on the world. Even my gruff and gritty demeanor can appreciate how that felt now 30 years ago for me. And to be honest? I feel it more now than most my age so I'm pretty lucky.

So enjoy what it's like to be in Pete's presence as he let's the class know what it's like to walk the tunnel on gameday and end with some words of wisdom about what it's like being on a team.

I will say this: as a Buckeye... that shit was hard to put together. Not Xichigan hard, doing that for them would've require hard drugs and therapy, but hard nonetheless because Pete Carroll and USC beat our ASS and Hef doesn't let me forget it.

That being said, this video will always hold a place in my heart because of what it took to be in the position to produce this. All of it required a series of people that really didn't know me continuing my journey step-by-step. That video took JD introducing me to Roman, Roman introducting me to Hef, Hef introducing me to Jeff, Jeff introducing me to Yoda, Yoda introducing me to Dave, and finally Dave letting me shoot the class and making sure Pete saw my reel before it started. Unbelievable.

This shit doesn't happen overnight, but it usually doesn't take over a year and need every bit of 6 people's help and belief to get to the one person that can say "yes" and that person actually saying "yes". And as a Buckeye I just have to accept that that person is Pete Carroll.

LMFAO.

Hey - at least Chip Kelley is the offensive coordinator for The Raiders now and if I get the chance... I cannot WAIT to say GOBUCKS to that badass. Time depending, I may have a few questions about that Xichigan game to be honest. I'll try not to blow up my entire company just to get some answers on that one.

;-)

Alright - meeting with Yoda later today to show him some more stuff that I shot during the Rams game (16 months ago - wow) and tomorrow, gasp, a corporate Delorean gig! Then the Dodgers!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
