I'm about to write this. Yoda called. (Yoda is the guy
who set this all up, one of Pete's friends). He wanted to
let me know that Pete really loved the video but since
he's not in academia anymore, he doesn't really have a
use for it in the classroom. Pete was wondering if I'd be
willing to shoot the Raiders?

- Guys. When I saw the
text from Yoda saying "Let me know when you have a moment
to talk on the phone." I was certain it was gonna
be about Pete admitting he wasn't actually joking about
me being too close and sure as fuck didn't want me to
follow his ass around during his actual job. Alas, it was
ANYTHING BUT. I mean, I'm still trying to process
that Yoda thought I really wanted to shoot the USC class.
I mean - I'm fairly certain I told him (and most
certainly told Dave) that I don't see how this technology
would work in a classroom. That's why Dave suggested
shooting the class they were on location so I could get
some field shots. Like Yoda legit seemed like he was
breaking some tough news to me that there wasn't a future
in classroom recording.

That's a 45 minute flight - traffic in LA is a
