the anti-2024. What an amazing 24 hours...

- So the last entry is
still locked and something tells me I should probably
keep that locked until next week even though I'm gonna
kinda let the cat out of the bag in this entry. Actually
- who cares? I'll lock this entry too until next
Thursday. Why risk ANYTHING!?!!?
As I mentioned before, Pete's friend is clearly
protective of Pete and in fact texted me last night
saying they weren't able to meet the budget for the shoot
and politley just rejecting everything. I reiterated that
this was completely pro-bono (I'm not a MORON) and
mentioned something from Pete's press conference that
stood out to me. Not sure if that's what changed the mood
but he then told me when the Collisseum class was gonna
be and emailed me an invite to the icloud calendar which
I accepted. The idea being, I show Pete a reel (that I'm
going to make specifically for him) before the class -
then I shoot everything during the 2 hours at USC and
then piece together a documentary of that class to show
him the following week. My goal of course is to show the
value in capturing moments in this format that could
absolutely help his team and so much more honestly. Lost
in the business side of everything is just the human
side: capturing moments of your life in a way that will
live on with FAR more intensity than just a video.
And even internally within the Raiders the ability to
help players understand things and be present in
situations, etc. They'd be the first team doing this.
But, no matter what - it looks like I will have the
opportunity to present this to Pete and he's absolutely
the biggest decision maker I've been able to talk to in
the last 18 months. To put it lightly, I could barely
sleep last night.
...and of course the whole Indiana Jones helping me fix
my computer thing is just bonkers. I tried
troubleshooting... come to think of it - since the
beginning with this computer. Hell even in the summer of
2023 I was having issues... an out of date firmware on
the motherboard - I mean who the fuck ever checks BIOS
updates on motherboards?!?! THE FUCK. Just so glad I
don't have to buy a new rig. This graphics card has been
an absolute beast for me for over 2 years and I'm
thrilled I don't have to replace it...

- Alright - I need to
try and relax and attend to some things around the house
in the physical world, so goodbye to The Journey and
Indiana for the time being. We shall meet
again...

- PS - Lakers barring
injury are absolutely championship contenders now. Insane
people are acting like LeBron and Luka can't play
together. They're gonna be amazing... staying healthy
however is gonna be of utmost concern. But holy shit -
most shocking trade ever. Nothing close. What on earth
was Dallas thinking.
