Pokémon obsessed kid... some sort of event downtown? Sounds like a Journey Excursion...

So this is one of those videos that really (and I do mean REALLY) glosses over what actually happened yesterday and I did it so the family could just watch the videos in the future and enjoy it...

...but HOLY SHIT did it go down. So Cam, kept, running, ahead of me. I'd yell at him to stop, he would, but then he'd go off again (you kind of see it in the video) and repeat. Welp... he finally did get lost. He turned right when I turned left. And guys? He was lost for over THIRTY MINUTES. Had them announce his name and where to meet me? Nothin'. Held my camera up over my head so he could see it? Nothin'. My annoyance shifted to legitimate fear at the 10 minute mark. Finally I had a team of security guards scan the place with his description and they found him. Instant tears, not even a hint of anger... we just hugged. FUCK.

The rest of the day was somewhat uneventful other than Cam being bummed he bought a box of cards and didn't get any good ones. This whole thing makes me a little crazy because even if he got great ones? They're just to put in your book and show people - and you're never gonna sell them. Or maybe he will? He isn't THAT into the game or building a deck to play - so he's honestly just gambling... but gambling to FEEL COOL, 'cause he ain't sellin' shit. He tried to at the event and then found out you get less than half what they're worth from the vendors. So... yeah. What exactly is this hobby if you don't really want to play the game? Had a lonnnnnnnng talk about that on the way home.

Growin' up. That's part of it...

Anyway - it's a different genre of VR180 video so was happy to allow people to be virtually present.
