Cam's room. Whew.

ceremony night... Highlight video and then all the
deets to follow...

- So unlike last
year when she placed 2nd, this was an all-out best of
show moment. Considering how loosely others followed
the "theme" I guess I shouldn't have been so worried
about Vienna doing the same. This video now goes onto
some competition for all of Burbank and who knows what
happens there.

- Of course the
highlight of the night for me and Talya was watching
Vienna just be Vienna. How she dresses, how she acts
around friends... she's just... her. The cartoon is
just... her. That's what makes me beam the most.
I wholeheartedly believe that the key to
happiness is just embracing YOU. It's absolutely NOT a
key for success... but it grounds you and helps you
keep going. It also makes the hair on your arms stand
up when you're in a situation where you're not being
you. So the fact that Talya and I have provided a
situation where Vienna can embrace her quirkiness to
this level just feels like a big ol' win.
Hearing the little kids in the crowd laugh at the word
"poo" was pretty special. Vienna immediately
said: "It feels good to make people laugh. I want
to do that now." It really is a magic feeling.
Connection in general with an audience is just magic.
And to do it with such a bizarre video? Just a random
thought? Vienna really has the pieces to put a really
creative journey through life together. I can't wait
to see what happens next...
