- I'm writing to you
this Sunday afternoon in a world where that worked.
That crazy ass scheme to split 17 people at the Crypto
over a box (8) and seats (9) didn't feel like some
cheap move by parents that couldn't get the whole box.
It was pretty last second and we knew no parent was
gonna let us TAKE their 10 year olds to the arena by
ourselves so we had to buy as many seats as possible
to accommodate everything. The kids seemed to like the
seats more and the adults seemed to like the box more.
That makes sense really. But there was a lot of back
and forth and it did require some faith that these
little goblins could handle some of that on their own.
I think most of the parents were cool? It's
just a tough call but by the end I think we all
adjusted and had a great time. Oh speaking of which -
video of that great time...

- Everyone coming
back for basketball and cake was also pretty fun. Just
a cool unique party even though it's a month early. We
need to do something really cool for Cam next year. He
keeps getting crappy parties due to timing. We did him
a solid with the half-birthday thing since he was born
on Christmas but wouldn't ya know, that pushes him to
June 25th and damn near everyone is always out of
town. Ugh.

And I get to shoot it in VR180. How cool. Can't
believe I've had that bad boy for almost a
year...
