I can't believe I'm attempting another VRlog but I was able to get some of the render time with the raw files solved so, goodness - here we go...

Alright, so here, the indoor shots were fucked because I didn't have the power with me to do both 8k60 AND run the lens so I couldn't adjust the lens exposure at all. Considering? It did alright. The good news is for outdoor stuff I should have no problem not bringing the extra battery because I figured out how to lock it into 8k60 WITH power (which Canon says you need) then starting it without power where it simply tells you the lens is dead... but it stays in 8k60. That's a massive help and I think a trip to Journey Mountain this weekend will be saved because of it. The only problem? Going from indoor to outdoor like we do in this video.

That being said - THE FOCUS was pretty good as I made my tape measure and pretty much memorized the distances according to the letters on the focus ring, so I feel like that's under my belt pretty much.

...as well, the whole "bringing in old videos" in the background will forever be cool to me. You almost have to watch the thing twice to catch everything and it's just... SUCH A COOL WAY TO EXPERIENCE IT...

...but I'm also aware that I'm leaving a LOT of people out because I think that shit is gonna be too small on a phone or PC to really catch. There will be 2D entries coming up as I begin to piece together "The Story of GolfKon" and some other stuff that is just too difficult to pull off with this big 'ol camera.

Anyway - super glad I was able to catch the fam goin' to Starbucks with the kids still elementary age with this equipment. Those days seem to be flying by...
