This may need to be a tradition from here on out: the Columbus Garbage entry. It really does work...

My mom and the raccoon... god I love that.

So yeah, it was an amazing trip filled with reconnections and joy. To all my friends who I didn't see, please understand that this was 100% about our kids and letting them and their grandparents have the most time possible together. Once those grandparents can start traveling again and they get to see them in LA? Sure, there may be some free time for me and Talya to visit... but yeah, don't really count on it come to think of it. Coming back to Columbus for us is extremely difficuly. Like, spreadsheeting your time difficult. If you wanna see us? Come to LA, I'll save a seat at the bar for ya.

But again, everything we could have hoped to pull off we did and it was pretty relaxing. Of course on the last day Vienna felt super sick and we've been dealing with random symptoms (though no positive COVID cases) since we got back. I had the weird headache (that I've only ever had after the vaccine) but no other symptoms. Vienna had a fever for 4 days, but then it vanished. Cam was sick for one day... it's so hard post-COVID to figure shit out because we all went SO LONG WITHOUT BEING SICK. I feel like it'll be years until we get our immune systems back up to a point where it can fight the normal occurences in society. So who knows...

Not much more to say about Columbus other than what's in the video... oh and of course that ending. It's hard to watch the passing of time sometimes. 25 and 50. Me and my dad. I am now 3 1/2 years from 50 and he's... whew. It's a blink of an eye.

I'm so glad I've documented as much as I have. These videos are the such precious things...
