               - Man. It has been a
long time since a legit all-nighter. What happened
Sunday into Monday... well, that's why this is a
               vlog:

               - This should
have been the end of the streak. In fact I did
actually call him to see if we could reschedule
because I thought there was no chance I could've
pulled this off. When he couldn't, I had to just
do everything possible. Most of the night was spent
attempting to jerry-rig something that would at least
get me to the gig (not knowing there'd be a bolt
supply store -Allen Bolt for future reference) that
would allow me to bypass Delorean for the part. And I
wouldn't have even known about THAT if not for the
dude at Home Depot telling me. Amazing.

               - ...now onto what
caused this and, well, it's pretty obvious. In fact I
said it to Phil who booked me for the stunt shoot in
June: I could break a control arm bolt. Technically
it's the "trailing arm bolt" but although Kenny said
he replaced both, I believe he just replaced one as
you can clearly see where he had to blow torch the
driver's side to remove the bolt back in 2017. The
side that broke this time was spotless. That or
Deloreans REALLY aren't designed to spin out like that
stunt shoot - because the dude really only did it 4
total times and clearly that's what snapped it. He
skids out to the left putting all the pressure on the
rear passenger side wheel. Why wasn't it immediately
noticeable however? There's a plate that holds the
whole aparatus together that simply screws the arm to
the frame while the bolt itself keeps it sturdy. If
that bolt snaps the plate with the screws is all
that's holding it together... which apparently takes
about 10 gigs until it finally screws loose and
thankfully it was going very slow on my way home. I
swear, every ounce of bad fortune I had with
Fastest Delorean seems to be balancing itself with
               wildly lucky moments like this.

               - Which of course
begs the question, what's next? And when will this
crazy streak end? That's 559 straight gigs without
letting anyone down. I mean... whew. All because
breakdowns have happened on the way home. <throws
               hands up>
