I'm not gonna know for sure until I drive it this afternoon but I think... I think I may have fixed the clutch well enough that my foot/knee/hip can heal over time...

A couple years ago, the most recent guy to help with some of my Delorean issues (who also happens to now be the bully trying to get me to race <throws hands up>) told me of a clutch master cylinder that he felt would be lighter than what I had. Since the car is running however? It's hard to choose to take it apart and put it back together... but after the Warriors shoot, I knew I had to do something. The pain was to the point that I knew I was getting dangerously close to simply not being capable of driving the car. I can fight through pain, but certain injuries... your knee just gives out. You can will it all you want, but you simply cannot physically push it down anymore. I felt like that was close so I set aside a couple days to make this happen and as you can see? I may have done it.

It certainly feels a good... 70% is the number my brain keeps coming up with. Ya know? The real shift is that the beginning USED to have a hard START into a heavy clutch... now? It has the heavy clutch at the end but the beginning of the push is normal. Just losing that initial heavy portion may actually keep me from re-aggrivating the injuries. Ahhhh I just don't know until I drive it!!!

So I need to go drive it. Wish me luck... oh and the gig is Don's wedding which I desperately don't want to lose my streak to. Like, of all the gigs? If I missed Don's wedding, I would not only feel awful - I would never, ever, ever hear the end of it.

Here's hoping I screwed everything in right. LOL.

<gulp>
