There was a period of my life when I just stopped gaming. Make that two. When I hit high school and found out how much more fun girls were than video games... good 4 years gone there. Then I was pretty hardcore from around 1996 - 2006. Then CBS came and my entire life became making the most of that opportunity. The only real gaming after that was Guitar Hero/Rockband because it scratched that music itch just like playing actual music. ANd it wasn't really until 2017 when I had kids that I jumped back in and it's been quite fun experiencing it with them...

...so getting to the point where we can play Rockband together? That's special. It's a connection to my past I still can't actually believe they're ready for... for a quick recap, here's me and my dad playing More Than A Feeling and somehow getting three 90s on expert with just two of us...

The kids aren't ready for this type of challenge yet, but it's coming. We did do the entire story mode on Beatles Rockband so they're hooked. Unfortunately one of the guitars just cannot trigger the special the way it's supposed to as Cam found out...

God that's funny... but yeah, I'm super thrilled we can do this now. We'll practice a song and do a 4-person family band video one of these days. They have to get past easy though... I mean, come on. There's history here.

STEP UP YOUR GAME KIDS.
