...and sometimes you know a Journey video will be a turning point in the development of your child (or the documentation of said development) that you'll never forget. 2120. The video where everyone met the actual Vienna. The Vienna that is usually overshadowed by her louder brother. The Vienna who we see constantly but is so rarely recorded. The goofy, outside-the-box thinking, brilliant little girl that I'm so proud of I can barely contain it.

Vienna noticed I was being interviewed a lot lately and asked if she could interview me. I told her to write down some questions and I'd set everything up for her. The result is, as I mentioned, the greatest documentation I have of who Vienna is. So excited to share this:

Rarely am I that surprised in life. I don't know if you could capture that type of ping-pong questioning for everyone, but man I kind of want to find out. Like, let's say Vienna watched some Parks & Rec shows and got to know the character of Jerry (Larry/Terry, etc.) - what would she ask Jim O'Heir if he were sitting there? I do believe this has merit, but I'm also not certain she really gets why her line of questioning was so perfect. The back and forth between actual questions about me, to actual questions about life, to "Do you like this picture?" was so fucking effortless in our interview - I'm afraid it would feel too scripted if I threw someone else in that seat. But I have to try. Maybe with family members. Hmmm. I gotta think about this...

But holy shit, no matter what - that was an amazing video. Man what a great month for The Journey! Out of nowhere! Good times.
