Damn, this took a MONTH. Hardest edit I've ever had and I'll explain why in a bit. First, the massive 39 minute video...

Black space for spoilers....

So first and foremost, our first live broadcast and unfortunately a new cameraman who was a bit too shaky and what do you get? An impossible edit. I can't edit the video because the commentary is running throughout... but I have to edit the video. THankfully I had a guy do reaction shots with my phone which helped that edit... but then that meant I had to edit the audio, piece by piece for every hole and every player. 18 holes, 4 players editing each hole seperately and THEN editing the audio to fit. Even worse? I can't skip ahead because the announcers don't realize that's happening. When I did announcers before, they spoke over an edited piece and could say "And now we're moving onto Hole 7..." because I edited it in a way that told them that and I could then stick to the best parts and most intrigue...

...this time? I had to show the ENTIRE game. Now, golf fans? Actually probably appreciate this and truth be told, if you're willing to invest 39 minutes into this video and love golf? It's actually a wonderful rhythm. And I appreciate it. However, previous tournament videos? I can rewatch them because they're edited to the story. This? Yeah, I can't rewatch this. There's only 4 or 5 seminal moments within the 72 player/hole interactions and that leaves a LOOOOOOOOOT of boring pars. Live? It's great. First time? It's great.

Then again, about 15 people watch these right now. LOL. So the first thing I'm gonna do is STOP live broadcasting and have them broadcast AFTER I edit it. Second thing? I'm about to flood the course with go-pros so I don't have to deal with cameramen. Yadda, yadda onto the tournament.

Well, (-10) is pretty amazing. It took us 4 years, but we're here. I think it stands for another 5 years at least. It will be tied, but an (-11) under statistically requires an astronomical amount of luck. But that's why we play. ;-) I'm very glad I had my moment but of course, I didn't win it all.

And damnit, Michael pretty much ended the entire points championship half-way through the entire year. Catching up now is virtually impossible. Just, wow. Congrats to him, but just wow. We all had our chances and did stupid shit...but the amount of breaks that went his way? Unreal. In the playoffs? Ethan's near Hole 3 eagle? Dude... he could've EASILY missed the cut on SO many plays. He knows he's lucky and used up every OUNCE of his luck to win this...

...but sometimes you need luck. I'm ready for the Independence Championship now only a few days away! Hopefully that video will be done sooner.

Congrats, Mike...
