- Well just on cue:
depression. Man, just like that! Annoyed at Mark's
reaction to the reel and realizing that nothing is
going to come of it from his end because he doesn't
seem to really "get" what's going on I wake up
this morning and it's like I went back in time. I was
happy BEFORE all this shit started because, duh,
life is fucking brilliant... this starts... and even
though things haven't changed? Now I'm absolutely
moving in molasses. You pour the Lagavulin in the
MIDDLE of the goddamn day and you get videos like
this...

- Granted, that's a
lot cooler environment than a fucking bathtub but I am
absolutely STUNNED at just how similar the feelings
are. This completely out of control feeling where the
people around you aren't actually helping you, they're
just holding you back. They don't actually understand
what you're communicating (or they just won't respond)
and your direction is fuzzy. You start to slow down,
you start to withdraw... it's identical. The good news
is my life is so overwhelmingly AWESOME I can't stop
being uplifted by it. My wife, my kids - even my
backyard is a big SLAP IN THE FACE that
keeps the molasses moments temporary. Ooh, that's a
good entry title. And exactly what depression feels
like.
Of course the reason I'm writing is that this molasses
made me say FUCK IT and bring
YET ANOTHER production company into the
fray: LMNO Productions whom I know from Laura
Adler because I helped her pitch an idea to them
3-4 years ago. They also produced the show Donna and
I were in called "Over Your Head" in 2008. I
gave the guy I had met the reel yesterday and his
response just moments ago?
"Adam! Watched, and loved the video. Tons of fun.
Let me see if there's any interest from my head of
development. She's out today but will be here
tomorrow. Talk soon!"

That's a good way to take control and keep pushing. Of
course now we have 3 avenues and I'm about to just
start contacting beer and liquor companies to have
them sponsor the ORIGINAL Hats
& Minigolf idea and produce the whole thing
myself. FUCK YOU ALL.
