12:49 PM, Sunday, September 13th, 2015:

Well it's pretty clear at this point I'm not finishing this video anytime soon. I will be lucky to finish it before the next tournament at this point because life is on overdrive...

...however, I have to at least write this entry for a placeholder for the eventual video. I've honestly never done this before to this degree on The Journey. That's how busy this period is. Actually? That's how mentally exhausted I am right now. Technically I do have some space to pull this off but my brain just isn't working right now. I have a rough edit of the video done but the focus it takes to do all the overlays and sharper edit just... my brain is fried. It's the 2 months of building in July and August, keeping The Journey going with 2 kids goin' crazy and RentTheDelorean calls/emails/texts just insane... I need to just lay down. LOL. Cam STILL isn't sleeping through the night and we're just ragged. So even free time, which for me means PRODUCTIVITY, is extremely difficult.

There's all my excuses and here's the placeholder:

(Editor: video added 10 days later)

I will now skip down to the very bottom of the entry so those who are watching the video through this site won't see the outcome...

Pretty killer ending. Holy shit. Matt gets a DOUBLE-BOGEY on Golfko?!?! Yeah. Can't believe he still pulled it off.

The whole day was pretty tough for me. Buckeyes are playing and the place was pretty packed. Probably 30 people overall - it was pretty warm... and by the time we got to the finals I was so mentally exhausted I had zero focus. However I was proud as hell. The place looks great, can now comfortably fit that many people and the players were playing at an incredibly high level. A (-7) isn't safe! What?!?!?! Very excited for next year's tournaments with this many incredible people playing.

And yes, now that Matt has won the Points Championship, I can look ahead to 2016 and the Halloween tournament (whenever the hell that will be) will be more of a party than an intense battle. Hopefully I'll be able to devote more time to getting charities involved (only 2 of our events this year had a charity/business sponsor) since building will have ceased other than theming holes. I mean, there will be a little bit of building here and there, but the changes I made this last go-round are permanent. The bars can't move... it is what it is. No the big final building project will be an extension of the house, which, fucking hell... will take quite a bit.

Congratulations Matt, you certainly deserved it - and how awesome is it that a (-12) is now 4th place. I mean, bummer it was me - but that's still an extremely proud moment for me.

Until Halloween,

Adam
