"equal" to Vienna, who had her birthday entry and her
birthday "party" entry - I end up showing how
insanely unfair the entire situation is. LOL. This
adorable boy has no idea that he's second to SECOND.
I mean, he already shares it with
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST and then you have your
older sister taking all your gifts because they're
MINE MINE MINE. This fuckin
guy...

- Instead of being
second to none on your special day, you are literally
second to EVERYONE. We are not absolutely determined
to make June 25th as special as humanly possible.
I mean, besides Vienna being the normal
"MINE MINE" 2 year old, it's not like she
didn't have other shit to play with -
IT WAS CHRISTMAS for fuck's sake. So
don't start with the ol' "you have to get her shit
too" - I hate that. Welcome to life kid. It's not
your special day. So fucking suck it up, be happy for
the person whose special day it IS... and wait for
YOUR special day. FUUUUUUUUUCK. But beyond all that...
the time of year is just horrible to try and plan
anything. So many people out of town, it's an absolute
mess. And on top of all that? He's the second
child...

I didn't realize the drop-off, and I don't
blame any of our friends or family for this - it just
is - but there's this celebratory JOY when it's the
first kid. Yay! After that? UGGGGGGGGGGH. Another one?
Only a YEAR later? Fuckouttahere. Here's a ball
go kick it around when you can walk, kid. That's how
it actually feels. LMAO. The drop-off is spectacular.
Of course, Cameron has no idea and thankfully we will
get this right by the time he does. As long as
everyone plays along with the 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 thing? It
will even itself out over time. He'll always get 2
songs though. It's the least I can do.

watch Vienna's 1st birthday video now. It's unreal how
much shit she got. Then again, he kinda gets all that
shit too... Ugh. Their whole lives can't be this much
balancing. Is this what it really is "make sure it's
equal! Make sure it's equal!" Because they're all
going to get whatever the hell they need and most of
the shit they don't need - so won't everything be
OK?
