This video was done 3 days ago but I really wanted
Kurtis and Jonathan to do commentary for it... and a
new tradition is born, because it's awesome. So
without delaying this anymore - here's the half-hour
show:

- I can finally say
that and not feel like an asshole since I've lost the
last 2 tournaments. It really was as carefree a day as
I show it in the video. It was just the hardcore
players, I hit an (-8) on my first game and laid
in a freaking pool the rest of the day. It was
GLORIOUS.

- Now of course
myself and everyone watching that video wanted Jimmy
to win, but as everyone finds out eventually - it's
hard. It's actually really hard. And Michael, poor
Michael. He played so many games, man. Oh and the game
limit from Memorial Day was removed for obvious
reasons: there were only 11 players. LOL.
I put that in when we had 50 people here just so
everyone could play and nearly 20 people still
COULDN'T play the greens were so crowded. So the
limit will come into effect when necessary, but we'd
gimp the money for charity if we did it on days like
this. But yes, Michael just, couldn't, break that (-4)
mark. I swear, there's this period for the good
players where they struggle - and then come back. You
start strong, you think "I've got this..." and then
suddenly you cannot hit anything for months... then it
all comes together and you're consistent. However,
here's the crazy part about our standings after this
tournament:

- With only one
Major and one Match-Play event remaining? Anyone on
that list can win. And truthfully? Whomever wins Labor
Day (200 points) will be nearly impossible to beat.
Because you know damned well they'll also qualify in
the round of 8 for Halloween so that's an automatic
225. It will be very difficult to surpass Labor Day's
winner unless it's Michael Cole and then Labor Day's
2nd & 3rd place finishers will be right there next
to him. If Matt or I win it? It's Done.

- So the commentary,
right? How fun was that? It was actually so
entertaining, I'm considering releasing a full,
un-edited version of the Labor Day Finals which will
be close to 2 hours. Only 50 people are watching these
videos anyway, might as well make it really feel like
Golf. Ya know? This has to be the silliest sentence
I'm ever going to write, but there is something about
editing golf that destroys the drama. The drama is in
the build-up. I leave some of that in, of course - but
that's kind of the problem. You KNOW it's a big
moment because I left it in. When you don't edit
it? All of it could be big moments and when it
turns out to be? That's when you gasp. Gasp. Jesus.
What has happened to me. I'm talking about
GASPING at fucking GOLF. But, I have to
admit - it's true. There are some wonderful moments in
that video and even Talya is now gasping at them. It's
like slow-motion basketball shots. That's the best
analogy I can make. Ever see a replay of a
3-pointer that barely misses? You always go
"OHHHHHHHH." That's every shot in GolfKon, because you
can literally make it from any spot.

it. We have a tight race going into the Final Major
and now I focus on all things Delorean. Should
